A little bit about my favorite Japanese cars

my favorite car would be surprising to most of you as it is not rare or that fast, the Subaru Impreza STI. It has a two liter inline 4 turbocharged engine that produces 276 BPH and 149 FT LBS. of torque. The reason that I love this car is because it has unlimited tuning potential, it looks good stock, it sounds amazing, and my dad used to have one from 09. The Subaru came to life when Subaru took on rally racing. The STI in specific was their second rally car after the legacy. Once they used the STI they had what is now called Subaru blue as the color for the outstanding rally car, it was sponsored by a tobacco company with gold colors for their logo. Because of this almost all Subaru enthusiasts have their car painted blue and their rims painted gold. The STI was introduced in the late 1900s and has been made until now, but they are stopping their production soon to focus on an electric car. After they stop making it they are still going to make two other types of Impreza’s it’s a little bit slower WRX edition and the family car edition the normal Impreza.

This one being a bit more expensive and expected. The honda NSX, has a rear engined V6 that produces 270 HP which for the time was more than you could imagine, combined with the fact that it was naturally aspirated. Because of the V-tec once you rev it up to 6000 RPM it starts to accelerate as fast as you could say Honda. The NSX was competing with Ferraris rear engined and mid engined V8 powered supercars like the F40 and F50.

Last but not least is the 2004 Honda civic type R, you are probably thinking to yourself why do you like it so much, well I’m about to tell you. First of all there is something special about how the shifter is placed as if it was your seat warming button or a drink holder. Then the looks, a lot of people would probably disagree but i think it is one of those cars that were perfectly designed. This is the better version of the SIR, that is the better version of the SI and that is the better version of the normal civic.
